Orthodontics

Treatments performed to correct anomalies in the mouth, teeth and jaw are called orthodontic treatments.
Early treatments, eruption guidance and jaw development are guided with removable appliances, which are used mostly in children between the ages of 7-12.
Fixed orthodontic treatments are performed with metal brackets, transparent brackets and lingual brackets. In these methods, a proper jaw alignment and closure is planned by moving the teeth one by one through brackets attached to each tooth and special wires and plastic devices passing between them. Bracket systems also have their own advantages and disadvantages.
In brace-free orthodontic treatments, it is planned to correct tooth distortions by using a series of transparent plates. Teeth that are gradually corrected in a computer environment are corrected thanks to these plates that are not visible from the outside. These plates are removed only for eating and brushing, and are otherwise worn constantly. It is used only in patients with crowded teeth and is not suitable for use in disorders of the maxillofacial system.
